He was joined two years later by a sister, Katherine Wright. Unfortunately, soon after her birth, JT's parents got divorced and he stayed with his mom and sister, while his Dad moved to the next state over. While growing up, he was usually in the center of things going on, both good and bad, earning him the playful nickname "Just Trouble". As a byproduct of his adventures, he learned how to flash his baby blues at an early age to get out of those troubles. It worked most of the time, as his childhood antics were nothing more than throwing water balloons at the girls or "forgetting" to do his homework. As he grew, however, his stunts and attitude got more out of hand and his mother decided he needed a male role model to help him figure things out. He moved in with his dad during the summer of 2001 and started 7th grade later that year. There he met Jamie and they quickly became friends. At the encouragement of a mutual friend, they started dating at 15 and JT quickly fell in love. They were a solid couple in high school with only a few bumps in the relationship. Those usually revolved around being unable to see each other because JT got grounded or he was off goofing around with his friends when Jamie wanted to spend time with him. The summer after they graduated they had a small surprise wedding ceremony with just a couple friends, and moved in together in a cozy apartment a month later. Things drastically changed at that point. Their idealic high school romance got a terrible hit of reality and instead of spending long hours talking on the phone or passing notes in class, they were working in some attempt to keep ahead of the bills. JT went through it for a year and half before he sat down with Jamie and told her something needed to be done. As a last attempt to savage what they had, they moved to Los Angeles, hoping the new place would help them start anew. |
